Il 15 giugno 2003 si terranno in Italia due referendum relativi a:

abrogazione delle norme che stabiliscono limiti numerici ed esenzioni per l’applicazione dell’art. 18 dello Statuto dei Lavoratori,

abrogazione della servitù coattiva di elettrodotto.

Per la prima volta nella storia del nostro Paese, i cittadini italiani residenti all’estero avranno la possibilità di votare dal luogo ove sono residenti, per corrispondenza, senza la necessità di rientrare in Italia.

Ogni elettore riceverà, entro la fine del mese di maggio, un plico contenente:

una scheda elettorale di colore azzurro (relativa al referendum sull’art. 18 dello Statuto dei Lavoratori),

una scheda elettorale di colore arancione (relativa al referendum sull’abrogazione della servitù coattiva di elettrodotto),

un certificato elettorale,

una busta bianca,

una busta preaffrancata (Business Reply Envelope) con l’indirizzo del Consolato

un libretto contenente il testo della Legge recante “Norme sul diritto di voto dei cittadini italiani residenti all’estero”.

On June, 15 2003 Italians will vote for two referendum concerning:

the annulment of the norms establishing numerical restrictions and exemptions to the application of article 18 of the Workers’ Statute,

the annulment of bondage on installation of long-distance power lines.

For the first time in the Italian history, Italian citizens residing abroad will have the possibility to vote by mail, from their homes.

By the end of May each voter will receive an envelope containing:

a blue ballot paper (relating to the referendum on art. 18 of the Workers’ Statute)

an orange ballot paper (relating to the referendum on the bondage on installation of long-distance power lines).

a white envelope

a Business Reply Envelope

a booklet containing the text of the Law on the right to vote for Italian citizens residing abroad
